SUN MOUNTAIN RANCHES ROAD DISTRICT BOARD POSITION VACANCY AS OF JANUARY 1, 2027

The position of President of the Sun Mountain Ranches Road District will

be expiring as of January 1, 2027. This notice is to invite interested

property owners within the Road District boundaries to contact the District

of your interest to serve.

An overview of Board requirements are:

BOUNDARY

PRESIDE OVER QUARTERLY BOARD MEETINGS (MARCH, JUNE,

SEPTEMBER AND DECEMBER) SECOND SATURDAY AT 10:00 A.M.

PRESIDE OVER ANNUAL BUDGET MEETINGS

ADHERE TO THE SPECIAL ROAD DISTRICT GUIDEBOOK

ESTABLISHED BY DESCHUTES COUNTY. THE GUIDEBOOK CAN

BE REVIEWED ONLINE AT: www.deschutes.org/road/page/special-

THE POSITION IS A 3-YEAR TERM BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2027

Please note: The Board approved providing $100 per calendar

quarter ($400 per year) for each Board member to oﬀset time and

operating costs.
